How Can We Help?

Setup steps, fixes for common hiccups, and answers to what we hear most.

Getting set up.

Two steps stand between you and your first automated post — most people are through both in under five minutes.

01

Add the Chrome Extension

MLT Pro lives in your browser toolbar. Here's how to get it there:

  • Search MLT Pro in the Chrome Web Store
  • Select Add to Chrome and approve the permissions
  • The icon appears in your toolbar once it's installed
  • Click the puzzle-piece icon and pin it so it's always one click away
Open Chrome Web Store →
02

Publish Your First Listing

Pull up a vehicle's detail page on any supported site, then let the extension take it from there:

  • Works on: Autotrader, Cars.com, CarGurus, CarsForSale.com
  • Click the "Post to Facebook" button beside the vehicle you want live
  • You'll land on Facebook Marketplace with every field already filled in
  • Give it a once-over, adjust anything you want, then hit Publish
⚠️ Stay at or under 10 vehicles a day per account, spread across the day

When something's off.

The fixes below cover what we hear about most — check here before reaching out.

The posting button won't respond to clicks+
Reload the inventory page and wait for it to fully load. Make sure you're logged into Facebook in that same window. Turn off any ad blockers that might interfere. Check DevTools (F12 → Console) for red errors. If nothing works, remove and reinstall the extension from the Chrome Web Store.
I don't see the button on the page at all+
Double-check you're on a vehicle or listing page from Autotrader, Cars.com, CarGurus, or CarsForSale.com. Confirm the extension is switched on. Hard-refresh with Ctrl+Shift+R (Cmd+Shift+R on Mac). Still nothing? Send us the exact URL and we'll take a look.
My listings aren't getting much engagement+
Space listings out across the day instead of dropping them all at once. Use sharp, well-lit photos — listings with 10 or more images tend to pull ahead. Check comparable local listings before setting your price, and refresh listings every few days so they don't sink in search.
A listing got taken down, or my account got restricted+
This is Facebook's automated enforcement, not the extension. Usual cause: posting too fast — keep it at 10 or fewer vehicles a day, spaced 20–30 minutes apart. If restricted, pause posting for 48 hours, then resume at a lighter pace. Still stuck? Email listingtools.ca@gmail.com.
Vehicle details are missing or wrong+
Confirm you're on the individual vehicle's page, not a search results list, and give it a moment to fully load before clicking. Anything missing can still be edited by hand before you publish. If a supported site is consistently wrong, they've likely changed their layout — let us know so we can push a fix.

Getting Oriented
What's happening behind the scenes when I post?+
The extension sits on top of the listing pages you're already browsing. Click the button and it grabs the photos, price, and specs, writes a description, fills in every field on Facebook Marketplace, and submits it — typically under 30 seconds.
Which sites can it read listings from?+
Auto dealers: AutoTrader, CarGurus, and Cars.com. Real estate agents: Realtor.com and Airbnb. It reads directly off your live, public listing pages.
Is this really faster than doing it myself?+
Posting one listing by hand takes 5 to 10 minutes. This gets it under 30 seconds. A dealer posting 50 vehicles a week gets back roughly 4 to 8 hours weekly.

What kinds of listings does it work with?+
Automotive: cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, boats, RVs, trailers, powersports, fleet vehicles. Real estate: homes, condos, rentals, commercial space, land.
Do I need IT involved to set this up?+
No — installing the extension is the whole setup. No API connections, no DMS integration, nothing to export, no sign-off needed.
Could this put my Facebook account at risk?+
It's built to post the way a person naturally would, staying within Facebook's typical daily limits. Hundreds of dealers and agents have run it for months without issues.
Accounts & Billing
What's the refresh feature for?+
Facebook buries older posts as newer ones roll in. This feature reopens your selling page on a schedule you choose and republishes eligible listings on its own.
Can my whole team work off one account?+
On the Dealership and Brokerage tiers, yes — everyone gets their own login under one shared account, with a dashboard showing who posted what.
How do I start the free trial?+
Hit "Start Free Trial," send your name, company, and email — no card required. Your login lands within 24 hours, with full access for 7 days.
