This page explains what happens to your information when you use MLT Pro (operated by Marketplace Listing Tool) — our website, our Chrome extension, and everything at autoandpropertylister.com. We've tried to write it the way we'd explain it to a customer over the phone, not the way a law firm would.

01 Who We Are
MLT Pro (operated under the name Marketplace Listing Tool) is a Chrome extension and web platform that helps car dealers and real estate agents post their inventory to Facebook Marketplace. This policy covers our marketing website, our customer account portal, and the extension itself.
02 Information We Collect
What You Give Us Directly
Starting a free trial, creating an account, or messaging support means sharing your full name, company or dealership name, email address, and phone number with us. Nothing more than that is required.
We never ask for government ID numbers, health information, financial account credentials, or biometric data — and we wouldn't know what to do with it if you sent it.
What We Pick Up Automatically
Standard web traffic data — IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages visited, and the site that referred you — gets logged automatically. This keeps the site secure and tells us which pages are actually useful.
03 How We Use It
- Running your account — creating, maintaining, and securing your MLT Pro login
- Delivering the product — giving you access to the listing tool and its features
- Support — answering your questions and fixing issues you report
- Billing & onboarding emails — subscription confirmations, receipts, and setup instructions
- Fraud & abuse prevention — spotting unauthorized access before it becomes a problem
- Product decisions — understanding usage patterns to improve what we build
- Legal obligations — meeting requirements under applicable law
04 Who We Work With
We don't sell your information — full stop. We do rely on a small number of vetted providers to run the business:

05 Cookies
- Essential — needed for the site to function and stay secure
- Analytics — Google Analytics, so we can see which pages are working
- Preferences — remembering small things, like light or dark mode

06 Keeping It Secure
- Every connection to our site runs over HTTPS encryption
- Passwords are hashed using industry-standard methods, never stored in plain text
- Access to customer data is limited to people who actually need it to do their job
- We only work with providers (Stripe, Google) that meet recognized security standards
07 How Long We Keep It
Your information sticks around for as long as your account is active. Once it's closed, we remove it — analytics logs are the one exception, typically cleared out within 26 months.
08 Your Choices

In California (CCPA/CPRA): we don't sell personal information, full stop — contact us to exercise any right listed above.
On browser Do-Not-Track signals: there's still no industry-wide standard for how sites should respond to DNT, so like most of the web, we don't currently act on it.
09 Age Requirement
MLT Pro is built for business use by people 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, email listingtools.ca@gmail.com and we'll remove it.

Want to see, correct, or delete your data? Email us with the subject line "Data Request — [Your Name]" and include your account email. We'll get back to you within 30 days.
We revise this policy occasionally to stay current with how we operate and with applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the newest version, and material changes get flagged by email or a notice on the site.
